🦋Dolly Art Contest 2024

We are seeking original paintings, drawings, sculptures, textiles and other visually handmade art (excluding video art) that capture the essence of Dolly, her spirit, and her enduring legacy in East Tennessee.

 Terms and conditions:

• A $15 nonrefundable entry fee is required.
• Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces of art per one entry fee.
• Entry fees go towards contest prizes and promotion.
• All entries MUST be original works of art.
• Artist is responsible for delivery or shipping their art to Rala + pick-up or return shipping.
• Art must be available for sale exclusively at Rala for 60 days. 6/1 thru 7/31
• Artist will receive 60% of the retail selling price, so please price accordingly. If you are unsure what to price your work, please contact us at shoprala@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to assist.
• Artist must sign a consignment agreement if entry is chosen for the contest.
• Rala is not liable for damage or loss of any entries.
• U.S. applicants only

Art Criteria:

• All wall entries must be framed or include a hanging mechanism.
• This includes prints, textiles, etc.
• Individual size not to exceed 48”

Important Dates:

• Submission deadline - April 30, 2024 (11:59 PM)
• Notification of acceptance - May 15, 2024
• Show opening - Friday, June 7th - Prizes awarded at 7:00 pm

Contest Prizes:

• 1st Place - $300 gift card to Rala or Jerry's Artarama 
• 2nd Place - $200 gift card to Rala or Jerry's Artarama
• 3rd Place - $100 gift card to Rala or Jerry's Artarama 
• Cup of Ambition Honorable Mention - $50 gift card to Rala or Jerry’s Artarama
